What are AVIALLY Books?

AVIALLY Books are innovative and exciting story books where the reader becomes the star of his or her own adventure. Each story contains the child's name, age, hometown and friends, plus a special message from you. AVIALLY Books encourage children to read and enhances their self-esteem and self-image. Bound in washable hard covers and featuring beautiful rich color illustrations, AVIALLY Books are built to last a lifetime. We offer a number of titles to choose from for every occasion.

How long does it take before I receive my book?

We process and ship your order within 3-5 days, and usually sooner than that. We offer multiple methods of shipping (including UPS and postal mail) so you can decide how quickly you want to receive your book.

For school fundraisers, we deliver the books to the school one week after the end of the ordering period. The actual pickup date is always included on the order form for the fundraiser.

What can I use for the book "dedication"?

The dedication is a special message from you to the child receiving the book. There are actually 3 lines on the first page for the message, up to 35 characters each, in this format:
Salutation
Book is From
Occasion or Other Message

If you're giving a book as a birthday or holiday present, specify the occasion in the dedication such as "Happy Birthday!” or "Happy Holidays!" We also recommend that you indicate the year in which the book is given.

We typically suggest something like this:
With love from
Sam and Jane Giftgiver (whomever the gift is from)
Happy Birthday – 2008 (other message or occasion)

How often will the "nickname" be used in the book?

We suggest using a nickname only if it is a name that your child is commonly known by, such as "Bill" for William or "Liz" for Elizabeth. This is because when we enter the nickname as part of the book information, that name will be used throughout the story. So please use discretion!

Keep in mind their full name (including middle name if provided) is used on the first page, above the dedication. This is true whether or not you provide a nickname.

Is it okay to submit my order form without the child's age?

The story will be equally great great whether or not the child's age is included. The same goes for the child's middle name - it's up to you whether you want to include it in the story.

Why is my email address required in the "Order Form" page?

Since we process multiple orders daily, the email address in the book "Order Form" page serves as an identification record to ensure that we process your order correctly. Your email address will not be included in the book.

How can I contact you if I'm having problems with your website?

If you are having any problems with our site, or the ordering process, please contact us at info@aviallybooks.com, or you can call us at 312-224-8583. We will respond quickly and help you through any questions you may have.

Can I change the information I already submitted?

Any of the book information you provide can be changed. Just send us a quick email at info@aviallybooks.com or give us a call at 312-224-8583 within 12 hours of placing your online order. Please remember to tell us your name, the child's name and the name of the book along with the information you would like to change.

Do you provide a discount if I want to make a bulk order?

Absolutely, we provide discounts on orders of 10 or more books. A perfect example would be to offer our personalized books as party favors. Email us at info@aviallybooks.com or call us at 312-224-8583 with all the details (which books you would like, how many kids will be attending, and when you need them by) and make sure to include your contact information.

What is your return policy?

A return policy on personalized items is extremely difficult to provide, as the item is specifically created for an individual and cannot be resold. We want ALL of our customers to be happy and completely satisfied with our end product. Therefore we provide the following return policy:

What if AVIALLY Books makes a mistake?
This rarely happens as we proof-read our books twice before they are printed and assembled. We also email our customers to clarify any questionable spelling contained within the personalized information that is provided to us. However, in the event that AVIALLY Books makes a mistake, we will correct and replace the book for you at no charge.

What if I supply you with the wrong information?
We will attempt to disassemble, reprint, reassemble and reship your book for a nominal fee of $5 plus shipping and handling. However, this is not always a successful process; if the cover needs to be replaced there will be an additional charge of $3. You will be notified if we need to replace the cover before we proceed.

Am I required to pay sales tax?

You are only required to pay sales tax if you are shipping the book to an Illinois address. Shipping to any other state does not require tax.
